11. Jesus Heals Two Blind Men. (Matthew 9:27-31)
Two blind men follow Jesus and shout out to him “Son of David” begging him for mercy.
Jesus went into a house, and the blind men followed him. He said to them, “Do you believe that I can do this?”
“Yes, Lord,” they answered.
He touched their eyes and said, “What you have believed will be done for you!”
12. Jesus Heals a Man Who is Unable to Speak. (Matthew 9:32-34
In this scripture, some people bring a man unable to talk and possessed by a demon to Jesus for healing and deliverance.
But as soon as the demon was forced out, the man began to speak.
The crowds were amazed and said, “We have never seen anything like this in Israel!”
But the Pharisees said, “He forces demons out of people with the help of the ruler of demons.”
13. Jesus Heals the Man at Bethesda. (John 5:1-15)
A man who had been sick for 38 years was lying by the pool of Bethesda. Jesus saw him and knew he had been sick for a very long time.
⇒ Jesus asked the man, “Would you like to get well?”
The sick man answered Jesus, “Sir, I don’t have anyone to put me into the pool when the water is stirred. While I’m trying to get there, someone else steps into the pool ahead of me.”
Jesus told the man, “Get up, pick up your cot, and walk.” The man immediately became well, picked up his cot, and walked.
Later, Jesus met the man in the temple courtyard and told him, “You’re well now. Stop sinning so that something worse doesn’t happen to you.”
The man went back to the Jews and told them that Jesus was the man who had made him well.
14. Jesus Raises Lazarus From the Dead. (John 11:1-45)
Jesus cries in this phenomenal story of healing in the Bible. When he cried, some of the Jews saw how much Jesus loved Lazarus when he expressed his grief. But some of them asked this question;
“Couldn’t this man who gave a blind man sight keep Lazarus from dying?”
Deeply moved again, Jesus went to the tomb. It was a cave with a stone covering the entrance. Jesus said, “Take the stone away.”
Martha, the dead man’s sister, told Jesus, “Lord, there must already be a stench. He’s been dead for four days.”
Jesus said to her, “Didn’t I tell you that if you believe, you would see God’s glory?” So the stone was moved away from the entrance of the tomb.
Jesus looked up and said, “Father, I thank you for hearing me. I’ve known that you always hear me. However, I’ve said this so that the crowd standing around me will believe that you sent me.” After Jesus had said this, he shouted as loudly as he could, “Lazarus, come out!”
The dead man came out. Strips of cloth were wound around his feet and hands, and his face was wrapped with a handkerchief. Jesus told them, “Free Lazarus, and let him go.”
